Accelerate your skills in PTC Creo

This blog post briefly explains what you should expect when coming on a PTC Creo training course at °®¶¹´«Ã½app.

What to expect?

Going on a Creo Training course remains one of the most time effective ways to get up to speed with the software or expand your existing knowledge. It is a great place to get instant feedback on your questions and gain an understanding of the subject. You may also benefit from the questions and ideas of other students on the course. At °®¶¹´«Ã½app we have designed Creo training material based on our extensive experience in °®¶¹´«Ã½app software, with 100’s of training courses being delivered every year by our team of Creo experts. The time and therefore cost savings by having employees who are efficient in their use of °®¶¹´«Ã½app is hard to dispute.

What to expect during a course with °®¶¹´«Ã½app:

  • An Online Training Manual – For use during and after the course. Contains exercises and reference material for you to refer to.
  • Learn – Topic explained in detail by instructor and demonstrated in Creo
  • Exercises – At the end of each module for you to practice the topics
  • Q&A – Extensive opportunity to ask questions.

Trainee specific examples – The instructor may show you some examples more specific to what your company works on or briefly explain an additional concept not part of the course material. Please note this is dependent on time constraints of the course.

Popular courses:

  • Introduction to Creo
  • Creo Conversion
  • Creo Update Courses
  • Creo Sheet Metal
  • Creo Surfacing

Difference between our training and alternatives

It is reasonable to assume that in recent times that the answers to many questions can be found online on perhaps YouTube, technical forums or even our Creo dedicated microsite. While this is true to some extent, anyone can post on YouTube. What you see is not necessarily the best or most efficient way to use the software. I think it is fair to say that it will take much longer to learn in this way and is reliant on a lot of self-motivation.

We could not talk about training without mentioning the massive shift to online training rather than in-person training. This training is still a live classroom and instructor-led but conducted online via modern software like GoToTraining and with digital manuals. While this change has perhaps occurred out of necessity due to covid guidance, it has many benefits. Courses are more accessible, there is less disruption to students work time and companies can avoid additional costs of employees travelling to training centers and paying for accommodation.
