MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM – The °®¶¹´«Ã½app Group AB (°®¶¹´«Ã½app) announces that it has signed an agreement to acquire Wilde Analysis Ltd (Wilde), with headquarters based in the UK, from the current owners. This follows closely after the announcement that °®¶¹´«Ã½app is joining forces with Root Solutions Ltd in the UK.

°®¶¹´«Ã½app Group (°®¶¹´«Ã½app), was founded in 2008 and is a global provider of solutions and services focused on helping companies successfully enable their Digital Transformation Journey from product development to aftermarket services.

°®¶¹´«Ã½app is considered the leading and trusted advisor within the product development sectors. This is achieved by combining best-in-class software solutions, technical support and professional training, with divisions located across the globe. °®¶¹´«Ã½app’s solutions are centered around the portfolio of products provided by PTC Inc. and Ansys Inc. These are focused towards the areas of 3D Design (°®¶¹´«Ã½app), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Service Lifecycle Management (SLM), Internet of things (IoT), Augmented Reality (AR) and Simulation (CAE). °®¶¹´«Ã½app also develops its own range of software applications to add extra capabilities to further enhance utilisation of the main solutions offered.

The group is projecting sales in 2021 of ca €55 million, is headquartered in Sweden and has operations in Finland, Denmark, Norway, Germany, United Kingdom, South Africa and the USA.

This acquisition adds a significant extended offering of advanced engineering simulation and technical risk management to our solution portfolio. Advanced simulation and safety analysis are important components for °®¶¹´«Ã½app to continue the growth of the services we provide to our customers and partners as part of the continued expansion of our global footprint. Wilde has a proven track record and very strong reputation in these domains.

With Wilde, combined with our existing operations and our new colleagues at Root Solutions, the UK will form an important and strategic platform for continued growth.
